The Children of Good Shepherd Put Faith to Action

Good Shepherd Episcopal Church in Tomball, TX

Every year, Analisa Taylor and Elizabeth Honeycutt of the Good Shepherd Episcopal Church in Tomball, TX ask the children in their congregation to bring in canned goods for their local food pantry, but they knew there was more good they could do. In 2018, in addition to the regularly scheduled food-drive, they asked children to take on chores to raise money for Gifts for Life.

St. Alban’s Easter Pilgrimage Walk

St. Alban's in Davidson, NC

At Easter time, St. Alban’s organized a “pilgrimage walk” for their congregation, during which children collected Easter eggs with tickets inside. Later, the children used the tickets they’d gathered to vote for their favorite Gifts for Life. St. Alban’s bought the gifts that the children had chosen.
